During the winter months I love to play hockey, but I would say I am surprisingly good at stopping pucks. I was drawn to the unique position of goaltender at a young age and have played there ever since.
What are you most passionate about?
I enjoy working through complex cross border and indirect tax issues, as well as other personal and corporate tax planning. I’m strongly passionate about resolving tax issues and helping clients achieve the best result.
What’s important inside your community? Are you part of any organizations?
I volunteer at tax preparation clinics in the community. I believe it’s important for all individuals to have access to the benefits this service provides. I am also actively involved in the local sports community, both as a player and referee.
What do you feel have been the most important successes in your life?
One of my biggest accomplishments is graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2015. The co-op program presented me with the opportunity to first join RLB as a student, before returning after graduation to begin my career as an accountant.
What are your favourite hobbies, sports team, and/or food?
I love to play sports, specifically hockey, soccer, and volleyball. Did you know that RLB has a baseball team? I play centre field. I’m a big Toronto sports fan (Leafs, Toronto FC, Blue Jays). I love travelling, and believe you can never go wrong with a slice of pizza or a good steak!
