Gwen Story, CGA

Accounting was not Gwen's first choice as a profession. She loved math but wasn’t sure if she saw it as a career path. Eventually she discovered that in accounting one uses logic and numbers to solve problems – so accounting became the chosen field. Gwen entered into public accounting upon completion of her CGA because it offers a variety of tasks and the interaction with different people from all walks of life.

 RLB is the ideal company for Gwen because of its size. It is large enough to be capable of providing support from within yet small enough to treat staff as individuals. RLB has provided Gwen with an ideal boss that she enjoys working for, job flexibility and family support. Working for RLB has provided Gwen with a job that is far from routine, there is always something different with every task.

Gwen uses her education, hands on experience, diligence, ability to listen to specific needs and ability to effectively communicate her thoughts to help and advise her clients. Gwen looks forward to continued self improvement within the organization and to developing processes and business plans for the betterment of RLB.

 Gwen hopes to continue to enjoy her work while spending her off time enjoying the outdoors, family, favourite person and to improve on her culinary expertise.
