Helen Purdy

I have been with RLB for 6 years and working in the accounting field for 20 years. I was born in Oakville and currently reside in Burlington. RLB has a great work life balance program which enables me to work from home a few days a week while remaining completely accessible to my clients.

I enjoy my work at RLB as it has a very pleasant atmosphere to work in; they are a very community oriented company and they support us in continuing our education.  I take various courses annually to keep up with the many changes in the accounting and bookkeeping professions. My clients can always count on me to know the latest changes that will affect their industry.  I have worked with many clients from various industries from not-for-profit, condominiums, farming, professional corporations and holding companies.  Currently, holding companies represent a high growth area in the accounting industry.  As such, we have developed a personalized approach to ensure the appropriate allocation of transactions.

A benefit for RLB clients is that we have many internal and external resources at our disposal. I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues to resolve any issues my clients are facing.
