Jade Surgeoner, CA, MEIF

Jade discovered her passion for accounting while pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Guelph. Before obtaining her degree, Jade joined RLB where she gained extensive accounting and auditing experience, but perhaps most important, was provided with the encouragement and support to pursue her CA designation, which she obtained in 2010.

Throughout her employment with RLB, Jade has developed strong working relationships with numerous clients in providing assurance and accounting services. Her dedication in providing excellent client service is a reflection of her ability to analyze research, solve and explain complex auditing, accounting and business problems.

In addition to working for small and medium size corporations, Jade has the pleasure of working with several agricultural and healthcare clients as part of RLB's not-for-profit practice.

Jade is proud to be a member of the RLB Workplace Wellness Committee which helps to promote healthy and balanced lifestyle initiatives to our staff.

Jade believes in a pay it forward aspect, and as such she acts as a UFE coordinator to help support new students in obtaining their CA designation. She assists them with studying, practice exams and all support as they take their journey towards becoming a chartered accountant.

During her free time she enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, reading, and spending time with her close network of family and friends.

Asking her where she sees herself in five years time Jade said "I will have a more significant presence in the community, and my focus and commitment to the accounting industry will be stronger than ever."
