I teach dance on the side for children age five to fifteen years old so I’m pretty good at dancing! I’m really good at coming up with dance choreography for the kids and being organized helps a lot with each dance move. I’m also really good at planning events, trips, and parties. I’m always the one in my group of friends to plan everything.
What are you most passionate about?
My passion lies in the strong relationships and friendships that I’ve built over the years, such as the customer-service relationships with my colleagues and clients. I like to talk a lot… But it plays in my favour because it helps me build strong connections with them, and that is also why I’m really close with my friends and family! I also love to travel and experience all the different cultures out there.
What’s important inside your community? Are you part of any organizations?
Creating healthy environments for kids is really important to me. I do this through my love of dance; it’s more than just exercising – it’s a place for these kids to escape from reality. The studio becomes a safe haven for them. It’s amazing to hear how I’m a role model for the kids I teach.
What do you feel have been the most important successes in your life?
Being able to provide education through dancing has been a huge success for me. I not only come up with choreography, I also need to generate ideas, lessons, costumes, songs to use, and much more. A lot comes with dance and I have been pretty successful thus far. I am also proud of my education; I have a Diploma in Business and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources.
If you could be a superhero or have a superpower, what would it be?
I want to fly only because I’m impatient and like to get to places quickly!
What are your favourite hobbies, sports team, and/or food?
Apart from dancing, I like to spend my spare time at the gym and being out on the field playing baseball.
I love dogs and have a Bichon-ShihTzu puppy named Mona.
