Natasha Tersigni

Operations and Finance Supervisor

What are you surprisingly good at?

I really enjoy doing logic problems (puzzles, riddles, etc.). They force you to think about problems in different ways and are a great way to exercise the brain.

Fun fact: I’m also pretty good at juggling.

What are you most passionate about?

I love to travel to new places and enjoy exploring different cultures.  I prefer to backpack and get off the beaten path! This allows me to get a better understanding and appreciation for the country. It also allows me to meet a lot of great like-minded travelers.

Outside of work, I enjoy being active as physical fitness is important to me.  I love playing most sports but hockey and baseball are my favourites.  I’ve recently taken up rock climbing, I’m really enjoying the challenge and the workout.

What’s important inside your community? Are you part of any organizations?

Not currently. In the past, I’ve volunteered for The First Shift, a subsidized 6-week program for kids to give them a chance to try the sport of hockey at a low cost.  Sports are a great way for kids to make friends and learn life lessons.  Every kid should have the opportunity to find a sport they’re passionate about regardless of financial position.

What do you feel have been the most important successes in your life?

I passed the CFE in 2018 and will be applying to CPA membership in 2019.  It was a lot of studying and hard work but the sense of accomplishment at the end was worth it.

If you could be a superhero or have a superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation.  I would love to be able to travel without the time (and money) wasted on transportation.
