Habitat WDG’s Ultimate Canadian Expedition Lottery and Draw Party

1,000 tickets. 2 trips of a lifetime. 3 epic packages. 1 community to build a world where we all have a safe and affordable place to call home.

Our Ultimate Canadian Expedition Lottery offers our entire Wellington Dufferin Guelph communities the opportunity to come together to support our build projects. Community members will be able purchase one (or more) of 1,000 Lottery tickets for a chance to win some epic prizes. Lottery tickets are $75 each.

Your lottery ticket is also your exclusive entrance into our Great Canadian Expedition Party on Nov. 10, 2018 – where we’ll announce the lucky winners of the lottery. But that’s not all – event guests will be invited to win some great additional prize packages, try their luck at mini-stick hockey and be wowed by local musicians & comedians.

Not sure you want in on the lottery. Prefer to just come to the event. Event tickets are $50/person or $500 to reserve a VIP table for 10. Get your event tickets today by emailing events@habitatwdg.ca or calling 519-767-9752 Ext. 36.

About Habitat WDG

At Habitat for Humanity WDG, we envision a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. To achieve this vision, we partner with our community to build homes that provide the foundation for bright, stable and empowered futures for the families and individuals who live there.

Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home-ownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.

We build homes across our catchment area of Wellington Dufferin Guelph. Since 2000, we’ve built 25 homes and are in the process of building a 28-unit development in Guelph. We are also exploring a multi-unit build in Orangeville.

Habitat for Humanity offers a zero down payment, interest-free mortgage. Mortgage payments are geared to income and are held by the local Affiliate. We require all partner families and individuals to contribute up to 500 hours of “sweat equity” by volunteering in construction, office work and fundraising. Working together with staff and volunteers, we encourage the development of life and employment skills.
