Planning and organizing events for groups of people. People don’t usually expect guys to be event planners. This year, I ran the baseball team at RLB.
What are you most passionate about?
I’m most passionate about adding as much value as possible to everything that I do, whether it be adding value to the work that I do at RLB, the sports I play, or relationships that I build. For instance, I always want to help clients save money – this gives them an added value to the services they get from the team at the firm. An example outside of work is if I’m going to play sports, such as hockey, I would only do it if it’s fun and if it adds value to me and my life. I’m not one to waste my time on things that are not important to me.
What’s important inside your community? Are you part of any organizations?
One of the organizations I’m most passionate about is the Canadian Blood Services. I constantly donate my own blood and organize blood drives. Blood donors are always needed, and I really encourage everyone to help make a difference and donate.
What do you feel have been the most important successes in your life?
Running a successful baseball team. We had no forfeits for the year which is all that I ask for! Our goal isn’t always to win.
If you could be a superhero or have a superpower, what would it be?
Spiderman. I like climbing things so if I was Spiderman it would be so fun. Also, the fact that my last name is Parker works out perfectly.
What are your favourite hobbies, sports team, and/or food?
I like trying new places to eat. One of my favourite restaurants is My Thai. I would also recommend Wind Sushi in St. Catherine’s.
