Wayne’s relationship with RLB extends several years as RLB were the accountants for his father’s business. His father always spoke very highly of the common sense, down to earth approach at RLB and that they genuinely wanted to see him succeed. Wayne learned first-hand from this experience how important good accounting advice is to running a successful business.

Wayne is passionate about seeing clients succeed. He tries to take the worry out of accounting and compliance issues to ensure that owners can focus on what matters most, running their business. With a strong tax background, Wayne helps to identify potential tax planning strategies in order to minimize taxes. 

RLB has a significant presence in the construction industry, with hundreds of clients in various segments including home building, heavy construction along with numerous subcontractors. This experience has helped RLB to develop a thorough understanding of the construction industry, identify trends, challenges and opportunities and ultimately assist our clients in decision making to ensure maximum profitability. Wayne is very excited about leading the team to help continue the growth of the construction niche at RLB, to enhance our services in this area and provide additional value to our clients. 

Outside of work, Wayne enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. They are sports enthusiasts and play ultimate frisbee, hockey and baseball. Ultimate frisbee is a passion of Wayne and his wife and they have traveled all across Canada competing in the national championships.
