Canadian Cancer Society – The Daffodil Campaign

The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is proud to be a champion and voice for Canadians who care about cancer. We are committed to supporting and engaging people in communities across the country.

Through our Daffodil Campaign, we raise funds to help people with cancer live their lives more fully. We support work aimed at improving the experiences, enhancing and prolonging the lives of those affected by cancer.

The daffodil is resilient. It survives our harsh Canadian winters and is the first flower to bloom in the spring, a time of renewal and hope. For those living with cancer, the daffodil is a symbol of strength, courage and life. Together, Canadians rally around this symbol every year in support of ground-breaking research and support programs that make life better for those affected by cancer.

The Waterloo-Wellington Community Office is gearing up for another busy April.  Volunteers will be going door-to-door in your neighbourhood canvassing.  Watch out for local businesses Downtown Guelph that will have pin boxes on display throughout the month of April! Downtown Guelph is also featuring a Daffodil poster you can sign in honour or memory of a loved one!

Thank you to our volunteers, community partners, and donors!  Our vision to create a world where no Canadian fears cancer is only achievable if we work collectively with people united by the same goals. With the help of hundreds of thousands of people that CCS brings together, we are a force-for-life in the face of cancer.
