Coldest Night of the Year 2017

Can you imagine how awful winter would be without your winter jacket, toque, mittens, and scarf? It is estimated that 235,000 people are homeless in Canada annually, living without winter essentials and a roof over their head on any given night. The Coldest Night of the Year is Canada’s (unofficial) walk for the homeless. It’s a fun, family-friendly fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless, and hurting in over 100 communities across Canada.

RLB has been a part of this fundraiser for several years now and we’re proud to be participating in the walk again in 2017. Sign-up to walk and join the RLB team on Saturday, February 25 and be part of an amazing initiative! The walk will start at City Hall (1 Carden St.) and finish at Lakeside Hope House (75 Norfolk St.). A warm, light meal will also be served to all walkers.
