 At RLB, Canada Counts.

RLB showed Canada some love for its 150th! As a team, we celebrated our great nation by answering the question “what Canada’s 150 means to us.” We created red maple leaves for each employee to share their thoughts on paper and place them in prominent areas in our four offices. This is a great opportunity for us to reflect and truly think about why we are proud to be Canadian!

We often are so busy in our lives that we don’t take a moment to sit and really think about what we are happy and thankful for. This is a huge milestone for Canada and everyone across the country was celebrating. We thought this would be a simple way to show our support to our great nation! Also, a thank you to the Guelph Chamber for featuring RLB’s Canada Day festivities in this month’s Guelph Connects!

IM in a Car

Our Director of Business Development, Katie Cheesmond had the opportunity to join co-founder of Intrigue Media, Rob Murray on a ride around the city in a segment called IM in a Car. This is a fun video series created by our friends over at Intrigue Media where business advice is discussed with industry leaders during a 10-20 minutes drive around the city.

In this episode, Katie talks about the importance of team culture to help grow your business, as well as some tips on getting organizational buy-in!

“Surround yourself with people that are better than you are because they make you great.” Katie says

Dave McEllistrum, from our sister company, Amplify LLP, also had the opportunity to drive around with Rob! Dave was RLB’s Managing Partner for over 10 years, and now the Client Experience Officer over at Amplify. With years of experience through the large growth of RLB, Dave shares his knowledge and advice on how to manage the team and organization overall. Check out his video here!
