An elegant evening with all of Guelph’s finest together in a grand room, RLB provided another Red Carpet experience for attendees to participate in. We were honoured to be there and to provide the attendees, winners and presenters with a professional photo in their finest attire, surrounded by their family, friends and co-workers.

Heartwood Place Amazing Race
On June 11, 2016, our very own “Bad Assets” (Natasha Yates, Erika Dix and Anisha Jesani) participated in the Heartwood Place Amazing Race. The race included 12 challenges which involved travelling to locations in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge by cycling, running, walking or taking the GRT. Challenges ranged from running in a Zorb ball to flipping tractor tires, eating with no hands to blindfolded tasting, bowling a set of strikes and so on. The team won second prize for most spirit given their punny team name, outfits and overall attitude for the day.
The Heartwood Place is a not-for-profit organization that believes in providing a “safe, affordable and adequate place to call home.” The organization has built two apartment buildings and is looking for a third project to build in the next year. Agricultural Women’s Network in Collaboration with RLB’s Women in Leadership

RLB got the privilege to collaborate with AWN (Agricultural Women’s Network) for a full evening of learning and growing through “Speed Mentoring”. Mentors from a variety of industries and expertise spent time with each group talking about their careers and their development – what worked for them to put them on the path to the career they have today.
It was a simple concept but allowed an open forum and discussion for all the women who attended to learn from.
