With awareness surrounding mental health issues on the rise, many workplaces have integrated an emphasis on mental wellness into their workplace culture. It is incredibly common to see Employee Assistance Programs included in benefits packages, with some organizations even opting to build committees or teams dedicated entirely to keeping the conversation of mental health and wellness both open and constructive.
Now more than ever, there is a need for mental health supports. COVID-19 has brought to light the issues so many were facing pre-pandemic. The added stress of working from home or adapting to life in quarantine has been a tipping point for people everywhere. Organizations are seeing a massive increase in demand for mental health support from their staff and are looking for new ways to support them through this unique time in our lives. In an effort to share what we at RLB have learned, we have put together a list of mental health resources (some COVID-19 specific, and some more general).
