When I go into a new environment, the first question I usually ask is “what is the biggest issue being faced right now?” and then, “how can I solve this issue?” I adopt this approach to situations both personally and professionally, which has trained me to be a really great problem solver.
Professionally I would say my clients. My goal is to ensure they have nothing to worry about; the back-end of their business is being taken care of so they can focus on the parts that matter most to them.
Personally I’m really passionate about technology and learning. We are being given so many opportunities to do things in new ways with technology and I find that really exciting. Learning is something I think we should be continually doing, no matter our occupation or age.
I support Diabetes, Alzheimer’s and Dementia non-profit organizations. I also try to support other organizations related to the education and support of youth. My grandmother recently passed and suffered from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She was very near and dear to my heart and I feel like I lost her long before she was gone.
So far? Getting my degree in Accounting, Audit and Information Technology from Conestoga College. It took me a while to do and it’s something I’m really proud of.
I would be the Flash. I could get work done in the blink of an eye …and I could leave the office on time!
I enjoy hiking when the weather is nice and snowboarding in the winter.
