I enjoy preparing year-end financial statements and tax returns for owner-managed businesses, whether small or large. I also enjoy performing assurance engagements for a variety of clients. I am passionate about problem-solving, as well as continuous learning and improvement. I aim to maintain a big picture perspective in order to identify strategic planning opportunities for clients. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, travelling, playing guitar, and golfing. When travelling, I enjoy experiencing different cultures, as well as learning about my own Italian, German and French heritage. I love spending time with my family and friends, as well as my rescue dog, Riley.
As the daughter of two urban planners, I grew up visiting sites and learning about the home building and development industries. I have enjoyed attending the Guelph and District Home Builders’ Association and the Guelph Wellington Development Association meetings. I grew up in Guelph and am passionate about this community. I enjoy being involved in community fundraising events such as the Coldest Night of the Year, the Guelph Wellington Women in Crisis Gala, and the Big Bike for Heart and Stroke. I have volunteered with Hope House and the Guelph Re-Store for Habitat for Humanity.
Growing up in Guelph, I attended Centennial CVI high school. I graduated with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Co-op) specializing in Accounting and with a minor in Economics. My first accounting work experience was a co-op position with a firm in Vancouver, British Columbia. I also worked in a municipal accounting department for a co-op work term. My final co-op semester was with RLB, where I quickly realized that this was a firm I would be proud to join. I respect RLB’s commitment to client success and I share the firm-wide passion for people and the community!
