About

Danika is part of our accounting team, where she prepares audits and reviews for both for-profit and not-for-profit clients. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an accounting concentration and economics minor from Wilfrid Laurier University, as well as a Bachelor of Mathematics with a statistics minor from the University of Waterloo. She also completed the Graduate Diploma in Accounting at Laurier. Danika joined RLB in 2022 as a co-op student before returning full-time in 2024. 

Danika became an accountant because of her lifelong interest in math and her logical way of thinking. She enjoys how accounting uses numbers in a way that directly applies to real-world scenarios, allowing her to see the impact of her work. She is passionate about learning the accounting practices of different industries and understanding how businesses operate. 

Outside of the office, Danika enjoys reading, swimming, and going for walks with friends and family. A fun fact about her is that she learned to speak German before English and spent 13 years attending a German language school on Saturday mornings.
