All condo corporations in Ontario are legally required to file annual returns with the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO). Make sure you are prepared to file your return. Read our blog post about frequently asked questions regarding CAO returns:

These returns contain important information about your condominium corporation such as information about Directors and their terms, AGM information and addresses for service.
When is the return due?
The filing for returns opened on January 7, 2019, and all returns are due by March 31, 2019.
Where can I file this return?
Why do I have to file?
The CAO provides support to condo owners, residents and directors to improve condo living in Ontario. The annual returns populate a searchable registry hosted by the CAO.
What happens if I file late?
A late filing fee of $200 is new this year and will become effective April 1, 2019, to all late returns. To avoid penalties, mark the deadline on your calendars!
