Carly Hornyak is passionate about helping her clients succeed. She works primarily with owner-managed companies; many of her clients are professionals who own their practice, such as doctors, veterinarians, dentists, and lawyers. Carly has had the opportunity to work in various accounting roles in assurance, forensic accounting, and even internal risk management. 

Carly graduated university with a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Accounting and a co-operative option, and she also minored in Chemistry to keep things interesting. Carly later obtained her full CPA, CA designation in February 2018.  

For Carly, the best part of being an accountant is the clients. She loves being able to help her clients navigate through the financial aspects of their business so they can spend time focusing on their operations. 

In her downtime, Carly enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her family are big sports fans! Supporting Manchester United in the EPL is a requirement in her household, and Football Sundays are spent cheering on the Baltimore Ravens. Carly is an avid reader and shares a monthly book recommendation at her desk for team members in the office. 

Carly is a big supporter of the Girl Guides of Canada and its girls’ empowerment across the country. Growing up, she was an active member and completed the Ranger program in her final year of high school.
