Kara is a member of our accounting team and has a degree in International Development and Political Economics from the University of Guelph, and a second bachelor’s in AAIT from Conestoga College. Her passion for merging her two fields led her to accounting, particularly focusing on not-for-profits. She aims to make finances more accessible to NPOs and charities, ensuring they follow standards to maximize their impact with limited funds and become eligible for grants through proper reporting and assurance.

When she’s not in the office, Kara is a skilled baker and a competitive powerlifter, known for her culinary expertise and formidable strength. Kara takes pride in her achievements in powerlifting, where she has reached provincial ranking and is driven to exceed this accomplishment in future competitions.
