Karen Webster strives to be more than an accountant to her clients; a trusted confidant. She is passionate about helping clients and seeing their successes grow. Karen focuses on various accounting and advisory work for small to mid-sized corporations – tax planning, notice to reader statements, succession, mentoring and more. 

Getting to know her clients is one of Karen’s favourite parts of her work. Learning about their business and what drives them to do what they do, and ensuring they know she is here to support them in all ways possible. It’s all about allowing them to continue doing what they love and leaving the numbers to her to sort out. 

Karen loves the beauty and tranquillity of nature. She lives out in the country and built a lovely home just off her parents’ farm, where she grew up. Her two sons, family and friends are all extremely important to her. Karen is also very passionate about sports and her community, Shelburne. Karen has played on a broomball team that competed in a world championship. She plays baseball, golfs, plays hockey, loves to hike, and generally enjoys being active and busy! 

Karen is currently president of Shelburne Ladies Broomball and is treasurer for the Dufferin Piecemakers Quilting Guild. She has also been involved with the Dufferin Board of Trade, Family Transition Place, Shelburne Minor Hockey, Shelburne Muskies, and the Shelburne Lions Club, to name a few.
