Professionally, I am a part of the not-for-profit (NPO) team and specialize in assurance engagements for NPOs and charities so I would consider myself proficient in that area. I am a bit of a perfectionist hence why I pay close attention to detail and am very organized. Personally, I play (and am surprisingly good at) various sports which I think has allowed me to become a true team player and to build lasting relationships, whether that be on the volleyball court or during client engagements.
I am passionate about ethics. I think it’s important to do what’s right, not just for yourself, but for others as well. RLB’s passion for employee success drives me to be successful and achieve my goals. I’m also passionate about sports and most importantly my relationship with my family and friends.
What’s important to me is opportunities within the community. I believe that everyone, especially children, should feel safe in their community and feel empowered to be successful, whether that be in their careers, in sports, etc. With that being said, the availability of recreational options within the community is also important to me.
I’m not heavily involved with any not-for-profit organizations, but I do work on the NPO team, I help with the NPO newsletter, and I attend various NPO functions throughout the year including seminars, galas, and other fundraising events.
Achieving a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration Honours with Accounting and Co-operative Options at Wilfrid Laurier University and subsequently joining RLB full-time. Then, in 2017, I obtained my CA, CPA designation.
Sports wise, playing rep soccer was a big accomplishment. I was also involved with Track and Field in high school and my relay team made it to OFSAA West Regionals for the 4×100 metre race. I’m still working on adding winning the lottery to this list…
I have a busy lifestyle so the superpower I want is to be in two places at once.
When I’m not watching the Toronto Maple Leafs win hockey games, you can find me spending time with my family and friends (including my dog, Abby), attending country concerts, travelling, or playing sports. I play various sports including volleyball, golf, baseball, and soccer and my family plans a skiing/snowboarding trip to Blue Mountain almost every year.
