I enjoy building personal relationships with my clients and acting as their confidant, as well as tapping into the resources of the firm’s dynamic group of professionals to bring a holistic approach to serving them. The majority of my practice is now focused on working with agricultural clients (producers and agri-business) and owner managed businesses.
It’s quite an amazing thing to have someone who’s worked so hard to build their business come to you as a trusted advisor.
Community is as important to me as it is to the clients I serve, most of whom are the community members who mirror my practice focus in agricultural production, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
One of the things that I am always thinking about is making sure that my family has a wonderful place to grow up in. We belong to many different organizations within the community and I have been very involved with my church for many years.
Being able to continue in a long line of advisors at RLB who have been able to live out the balance of big firm resources with small-town service and holding true to values of what client service really means.
Time travel would be my superpower, absolutely. I have a deep passion for Canadian history and architecture. Some days I like to imagine its 1855 and I am a businessman living in the days of old.
