RLB WINS CLEARLYRATED’S 2021 BEST OF ACCOUNTING AWARD FOR SERVICE EXCELLENCE 

In the shadow of the pandemic, a "buy local" campaign spread across the country. Social media featured pleads to avoid retail giants in place of supporting local mom and pop shops. It seems to have been a success as many small businesses are still afloat a year into COVID-19. While the push to support local businesses has been well received and reasonably successful, another sector could desperately use the same help. However, there has been very little light shed on their COVID-related strife. Charities and Not-for-Profit Organizations (NPO’s) have primarily faced similar struggles to most businesses in this current economic climate, without the benefit of a call to action for support.  

December in an average year is always a month of ups and downs. The combination of holiday excitement, pending family interactions, excess spending and less sunshine are enough to rattle the steeliest of nerves. Add in a pandemic, and you've got the perfect storm for a mental health crisis.  More than ever, this is a year to find new ways to support your team.

RLB doesn't just say "People Count.", we put it into action every single day. The act of supporting our clients, our team and our communities is never more apparent than during the holidays. We recognize that while the season may be joyous for many, some vulnerable members of our communities will struggle through the coming weeks and months.  

Fergus, ON | August 10 – RLB Chartered Professional Accountants (RLB) is honoured to receive the Business of the Year award at the 2020 Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce’s Awards of Excellence. The drive-in style event allowed for a socially-distanced celebration of local businesses and individuals in the Centre Wellington community.
