One month after the last minimum wage increase the province has announced that they would like to increase it again.  On October 1st the minimum wage increased to $14.35 per hour.  The proposed changes would see this increased to $15.00 per hour on January 1, 2022.  The Ontario government has stated the reason for the increase is to keep up with the cost of living that has increased considerably during the pandemic.

ZoomTopia is a virtual event designed to highlight the features and capabilities of the virtual conferencing platform: Zoom. They feature panels, guest speakers and breakout sessions to really dive into how video calls and conferencing are changing the way we live and work.

Ontario will see another minimum wage increase this fall.  The minimum wage will increase from $14.25 per hour to $14.35 per hour.  This new rate is effective October 1, 2021.  The last increase was a year ago, which saw a $0.25 per hour increase.

If you’ve somehow managed to find the time to sit down and read a book, you’re likely looking to make the most of that time spent. Making the decision to invest in research and learning is a great step in the right direction, but it is vital to set yourself up for success in implementing what you have learned.
