What is Smashing Nines?

Smashing Nines a 9 hole, women’s only golf networking event hosted by the talented 5 time ILDC Women’s Long Drive Champion, Fareen Samji (better known as Far). Far is more than just an internationally acclaimed athlete – she is an entrepreneur and a community leader. She has recently released her first book, Smashing the Grass Ceiling: A Women’s Guide to Mastering Golf for Business Success. The book talks about Far’s experiences as an entrepreneur and a former pro-golfer, and how using this sport as a tool can help women in business succeed. Far recently established a mentoring program called Smashing Girls; helping girls from the age of 12 to 16 years old build confidence, relationships, and life skills through golf.
